What does pattern match mean? Pattern match, in wallpaper terms, is specifically speaking about how you will be lining up your pattern to the wall.

Straight match means that all the strips/panels will line up the same at the ceiling line.

What is Drop Match Wallpaper?
Drop match means that every other strip/panel will line up the same at the top of the ceiling line. The patterns of drop match designs must be lined up both vertically and horizontally.
Understanding the Different Types of Drop Match Wallpaper
There are two types of drop match wallpaper: Half Drop | Multiple Drop
A drop match refers to when the print within the panel will run diagonally across the wall. It takes 3 strips/panels to complete the design.
A multiple drop match is when it would take four or more strips/panels to repeat the pattern
