Can Grasscloth Wallpaper be used in a bathroom?
Grasscloth is a naturally absorbent material. It is not recommended for areas where humidity and moisture can build up. Grasscloth wallpaper can be installed in larger bathroom spaces where steam, moisture and humidity do not gather.
How durable is grasscloth?
Grasscloth wallpapers are made from natural raw materials. The product is less durable than vinyl or paper wallcoverings due to the natural fibers and their low resistance to stains. Also, authentic grasscloth wallpaper is not a washable wallcovering and should only be vacuumed.
Will you see seams when decorating with grasscloth wallpaper?
Yes, authentic grasscloth wallpaper will always have visible seams. The product is handmade and woven with natural plant fibers that give the finished product a certain unevenness and no pattern match. Corks, micas, and paper weave wallpaper will have seams that are less visible.
