BRICK | NEW JERSEY – October 2018 – Tempaper was named a Finalist in the “Company of the Year – Consumer Products – 10 or Less Employees” category in the 15th annual Stevie® Awards for Women in Business, and will ultimately be a Gold, Silver, or Bronze Stevie Award winner in the program.

The Stevie Awards have been hailed as the world’s premier business awards. Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award winners will be announced during a gala event at the Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel in New York on Friday, November 16.

More than 1,500 entries were submitted this year for consideration in more than 90 categories, including Executive of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Company of the Year, Startup of the Year, Women Helping Women, and Women Run Workplace of the Year. Tempaper is a Finalist in the “Company of the Year – Consumer Products – 10 or Less Employees” category.

In just the past year, Tempaper has released a new wave of collections in partnership with design industry mavens, Bobby Berk, Genevieve Gorder, The Novogratz, and Inspire Me! Home Decor. Tempaper’s internal design team has also released three new collections. New lines include the brand’s Winter 2017-2018 collection, and Halo, Tempaper’s limited edition 10th anniversary print. This summer, Tempaper launched Fresh Pressed, an imaginative “little sister” collection of on-trend, contemporary patterns sold by the panel for the millennial and ‘Gen Z’ shopper. They are additionally gearing up to launch their first European Panoramic design, Utopia, at High Point Market.

Tempaper is now carried on PotteryBarn.com and HomeDepot.com, and is currently curating a collection of its existing prints for sale in Anthropologie, which will be available for purchase at the store in October. Tempaper is carried in over 200 brick-and-mortar stores and in over 300 stores in Japan. The brand also sells to 1,900 Target stores under white label programs and boasts an annual growth of about 34% each year.

“We are so honored to be nominated for such a prestigious award,” says Julia Biancella Au, Tempaper CEO and Co-Founder. “We want to extend our congratulations to everyone who has been nominated alongside us and thank The Stevie Awards for celebrating the power and success of these women-led companies.”

Finalists were determined by the average scores of more than 200 business professionals around the world, working on five juries. Their scores will also determine the Gold, Silver, and Bronze Stevie Award placements that will be revealed at the 15th annual awards dinner and presentations in New York.

“In its fifteenth year, the Stevie Awards for Women in Business received a record number of nominations. With the new Women|Future Conference preceding the announcement of winners on November 16, it will be a day to celebrate the achievements of working women around the world,” said Michael Gallagher, founder and president of the Stevie Awards. “We’re looking forward to recognizing the Stevie Award winners next month.”
