1. Prepare For Your Project: Gather your files and dimensions for your custom project.
Our team can work with a variety of file types for both repeatable patterns and high-resolution imagery. For raster-based imagery, we prefer .psd, .tif, .pdf, or .jpg files at a resolution of 300 dpi or higher. For vector-based designs, we prefer .ai, .eps, or .pdf files. Our team can match to provided Pantone standards, as well as physical color standards like paint or fabric swatches. For any standards that are not Pantones, we request that a physical sample be mailed directly to our team to ensure we are able to best match your expectations. Ordering a sample is always recommended when customizing a color.
2. Complete Your Order: Upload your files and submit your dimensions, add to cart, and check out. Once your order has been received our team will begin working on a digital proof. Custom projects will be charged upfront, but not considered final sale until proofs are approved.
3. After Purchase - Preview Your Digital Proof: A digital proof will be provided within 3-5 business days. Review your proof for custom artwork placement and accuracy of measurements. Our standard production time is 15-20 business days from approval of digital proofs.

Can I Apply Peel and Stick Wallpaper On A Textured Surface?
Peel and stick wallpapers are not recommended for textured walls. We always recommend that you apply our peel and stick wallpaper to a smooth, clean surface that is in good condition. The surface should also be primed and painted with semi-gloss, satin, or eggshell finishes. However, there are customers who have found ways to use our peel and stick wallpaper for textured walls and love the final result. We recommend testing your unique surface first with a sample.
How do I calculate my square footage
Please follow these simple steps on how to calculate the square footage of your wall:
1. Measure the height of your space in inches
2. Measure the width of your space in inches
3. Multiply the height in inches by the width in inches
4. Divide the number you calculated above by 144 (this converts the square inches you just determined to square feet)
5. Take this number and round it up to the nearest whole number
If you have additional spaces follow steps 1-5 and add all of the rounded numbers together to determine your total square footage.
What is the order process for custom wallpaper?
The custom order process is broken down into 5 easy steps.
1. Place Your Order
Visit the product page, enter the total square footage in the quantity box, and add to cart. Provide your space dimensions in the notes section at checkout.
2. Order Received
Our Tempaper & Co. designer will assess whether or not they have what they need to render your project and if they have any questions on your measurements.
3. Digital Proof Rendered
A digital proof will be rendered and sent for approval showing how the art will be paneled together. Please review carefully. Once your order is in production, no changes can be made.
4. Production
Once your digital proof is approved by you, your project will be placed in production.
5. Shipping
Once your order is ready to ship, you will receive a shipping confirmation with a tracking number. Chinoiserie orders typically take between 15-20 business days to complete before the shipping process can begin.
Can I customize the color to match my paint color?
Yes, our team can recolor any design for you. Email custom@tempaper.com with the design you would like to recolor and the color direction you would like to explore and they will walk you through the process.
Can Tempaper be applied to a bathroom with moisture?
Yes, our peel and stick wallpaper and wall murals can be applied in bathrooms and areas with steam and indirect moisture.
How do I prep my wall?

How do you remove Tempaper peel and stick wallpaper?
It is very easy to remove Tempaper peel and stick wallpaper! Gently lift any corner and slowly peel away each panel from the wall. It helps to remove outlet covers, switch plates, and any hardware before you get started. Tempaper peel and stick wallpaper will remove cleanly without leaving any sticky or messy residue behind.
