- Measure the height and width of your surface, this will determine how many panels you will need.
- Pre-cut your first Tempaper panel to the height of your surface adding 2-3 inches of excess material at the bottom.
- Be sure to align pattern with each consecutive panel prior to cutting, numbering the back of each panel as you work.
- Using a level, mark a vertical guide down the length of surface.
- Peel back 3-4 ft. of the backing.
- Begin at the top edge aligning paper with your vertical guide to ensure a straight application.
- Use a squeegee to smooth paper to surface working from the center out. Tempaper can be repositioned as needed to ensure pattern alignment and to eliminate bubbling.
- Continue in 3-4 foot increments peeling and smoothing until you reach the bottom edge of your surface.
- Repeat steps 5-8 until the surface has been fully covered.

Yes, when you place an order for multiple rolls of the same pattern, they will always ship from the same lot number to avoid color variances. If you are ordering additional rolls for the same project at a later time, it is important that you request the same lot number. The lot number is located on our labels right below the barcode. Please ensure all rolls are from the same lot prior to opening.
Please note that each custom order, including Chinoiserie, is considered a separate lot number, as these orders are digitally printed and made to order. WHAT IS YOUR VINYL MADE OF?
Our vinyl floor rugs are made with two-ply vinyl that has a latex padded backing. It is about 1/16" thick and can fit under most doorways. The material is lay flat and has a certified non-slip surface. It is non-flammable, phthalate-free, and UV-resistant for up to three years.
DO CARPET PADS NEED TO BE USED WITH THIS VINYL?
Carpet pads are not necessary, and we do not suggest using them. Your vinyl will lay flat and stay in place once unrolled on the floor.
CAN THIS VINYL BE USED ON HARDWOOD OR TILE FLOORS?
Yes, our vinyl is ideal for most flat surfaces. It will not damage or discolor hardwood floors (be sure to clean up spills that roll under it right away). When used on tile with wide grout, please be aware that furniture legs or high heel shoes may puncture the floor cloth - Use caution! We do not recommend use on carpet, gravel, or any other uneven surface.
CAN THIS VINYL PUNCTURE OR TEAR?
While our vinyl is durable, it is not indestructible. Do not drag heavy furniture across it and be careful of stiletto heels or other sharp objects. Always use felt pads under table and chair legs.
HOW SHOULD THIS VINYL BE CLEANED?
Do not use floor cleaning chemicals, scrub brushes, or vacuums on your vinyl! First, try a damp cloth with water. For stubborn jobs try diluted hand soap on a cloth or soft sponge.
